How do I register or become a member of FirstClub?

·         Click on ‘Sign Up’ button to the right of the page

·         A form pops up- fill out the required information as required on the loyalty portal

·         After reading ‘Terms & Conditions’, (if in agreement, click on accept) before continuing with registration

·         To proceed, click on ‘Create my account’ button to the bottom left of the page

·         Screen with message pops up- ‘A message with a confirmation link has been sent to your email address. Please open the link to activate your account

·         A mail is sent to customer’s email  address with a link (Confirm my account) to confirm email address and complete portal  registration

·         Click on Confirm my account’; and then fill out the required information in the form that pops up

·         When you are done with filling your details, click on ‘Complete my registration’ button to the bottom left of the page

·         Click the button ‘Sign out

·         Once you have completed the above steps, you are now registered, and considered a member of FirstClub- you see your individual home page on the FirstClub portal

Can I pay for goods entirely with my points?

Yes- for purchases made on the FirstClub portal and redemption for airtime recharge on FirstBank ATMs;

      However, for purchases made on the loyalty enabled PoS at the merchant’s outlets; it has to be a mix of points with cash from FirstClub member’s current/savings account


What is FirstClub loyalty program?

FirstClub is the loyalty program designed by First Bank of Nigeria Plc. to recognize and reward our frequent and loyal customers for their patronage and to encourage them to do more business with the Bank. Customers earn points by engaging in various banking transaction through the bank’s channels. Points earned could be burned in any of the outlets of our merchant partners.

However, our Exclusive Club members enjoy discount payment advantage within our select merchant network across different market sectors   both in Nigeria and abroad  

 


Which products can I get loyalty points on?

      

·         FirstBank Savings/Current account(s),

·        Bills Payment (DSTV & PHCN only) done with FirstBank issued Debit Cards via FirstBank branches or FirstBank ATMs/Online,

·        Transactions done with FirstBank issued Debit Cards (Verve, Naira MasterCard) on Local Point of Sales (PoS) terminals

 


How do I qualify to earn points?

Every registered member on FirstClub will earn points based on the following transactions threshold:

·         A minimum balance of N10, 000 in either Savings or Current account for one month (30days), the customer will earn ‘joiner points’- 100 points.

·         A minimum balance of N10,000 on either Savings or Current account over a minimum period of 30day, a Customer will earn 14 points. Also, any incremental balance of N5,000 in the  customer’s Saving or Current account  (above minimum balance of N10,000.00) monthly will earn additional 7 points.

·         Bill payments - for PHCN & DTSV only, at all Firstbank branches will earn one (1) point for every one thousand Naira (N1,000) spend, however bills payment via FirstBank ATMs/Online will attract additional 20points. E.g. when you pay N5,800 at a FirstBank branch you earn 5points; if you pay same amount via FirstBank ATMs/Online you earn 25points (i.e. 5points + 20 additional points for using e-channel).

·         Payment for transactions made with any of the bank’s issued debit cards (Verve or Naira MasterCard) on Local Point of Sales (PoS) terminals will earn two (2) points for every one thousand Naira (N1,000) spend.

·         Acquisition and activation of the FirstBank Naira MasterCard (NMC) will earn you 100 points (NOT applicable to Verve Cards)- 100points is one-off per card, which can’t be spent until subsequent use of the Card on a Local PoS; or FirstBank online transaction - bills payment (DSTV & PHCN only).

 

 


Do my points have an expiry date?

Yes. Points expire three (3) years from the commencement date of the scheme.


Can I redeem my points for cash?

No, points can’t be converted to cash (monetized).


How do I redeem my points?

There are three ways of redeeming your points:

(1)           You can redeem your points from any of our merchant partners outlets (listed on FirstClub portal- under ‘Partners’) by paying for selected items, within your point value, using your FirstBank debit card on the loyalty enabled PoS at the merchants outlets.

(2)           You can also burn/redeem your FirstClub points in exchange for Airtime recharge (for all Networks within Nigeria) on any of the FirstBank ATMs nationwide.

(3)           You can redeem your points on the FirstClub portal by paying for selected items within your point value.

 


Do I need to have an account with FirstBank to earn points?

No, you can earn points by registering with your billers’ account number (DSTV and/or PHCN). However, you cannot redeem your points at any of our designated merchant outlets without a debit card issued by FirstBank.


How do I know the number of points earned on all transactions done with the Bank?

There are different channels of assessing your points- you can check your points balance on all FirstBank ATMs and the Loyalty (FirstClub) Portal by logging on to your individual account.


Is there a membership fee?

No, there is no membership fee to join FirstBank loyalty club - FirstClub. Just log on to https://firstclub.firstbanknigeria.com/first_club/about_us/index and follow the details.


Will I be issued a membership card?

No, membership cards will not be issued. Your FirstBank debit card automatically becomes your ‘FirstClub’ transaction card immediately you formalize your registration process on the FirstBank loyalty portal.


What happens if I forget my 'password’?

Just click on the ‘forgot password’ link, a link will be sent to your registered email with us for password change.
